For the last week and a bit, I’ve been running a Chocolate Easter Egg giveaway, thanks to the people at Lindt.
All the entries were put into a hat and the two winners names were pulled out, at random.
And the winners are…
Congratulations to Pip @SockYarnShop and Sarah @dramafarmer! One of the Lindt Easter Eggs will be winging its way to you asap!
Thanks so much to everyone for entering and publicising the giveaway. Happy Easter everyone!
The lovely people at Lindt have sent me two, yes two, lovely Easter Eggs. So I’ve decided to spread the chocolatey love and have a giveaway, giving two readers a chance to win one each.
For me, nothing says Easter like seeing the little Golden Bunnies in shops, with their little red bows & bells. Each egg comes with plenty of Easter Chocolate for you to enjoy too!
There are 5 ways to enter:
1) Comment below telling me what you enjoy most about Easter.
2) Tweet this “Win a Lindt Easter Egg on @craftychai’s blog #giveaway”, then comment here with your twitter username.
3) Like A Crafty Chai on Facebook
4) Share the giveaway on Facebook
5) Subscribe to A Crafty Chai RSS feed and comment here when you have!
The giveaway closes 12pm on Sunday 24th March 2013 and it is only open to UK residents. I’ll pick the winners at random during the afternoon of Sunday 24th March & will post the prizes out by Tuesday 26th March.
Good luck everyone!
This competition is now closed
So I finally got my act together & moved my little blog from Typepad to WordPress. My reasons for this are simple really – it’s cheaper to host it myself than through Typepad, plus I’m much more confident at using WordPress now compared to when I first started blogging. This time, I’m taking it to the next level by setting up Google Analytics & focusing more on SEO so that more people might happen to come across this little fellow. I’ve also joined a little site called Bloglovin, you may have heard of it! Follow my blog with Bloglovin and keep up to date with all my witterings.
I have a few tasks left to do, like updating links and images, and a few photos to take for the slider. Have patience! I’ll get there soon! I’ve also created a little Facebook page for my blog too so if you want to follow me on there too, that will certainly make me smile!
One of my resolutions last year was to spend more time crafting so I’ve decided to dedicate some time every weekend crafting on specific WIP’s. Just knitting isn’t enough, as I do this most evenings anyway so I want to make sure that I spend time on the other craft that I enjoy and it’ll help me keep my Folksy shop nicely stocked!
Last year, I failed to send quite a few birthday cards on time. Part of the reason was that I didn’t have any cards in the house. So I decided that I should make a stock of birthday cards just for me to use. I won’t write them in advance, as I’ve done that before & a few recipients haven’t made it to their birthday. Yep, I’m that superstitious that I won’t be doing that again! So for the moment, I’ll keep them safe & blank.
I’ve used Blom Flowers and washi tape, but I have quite a few other ideas that I’d like to develop further. But, you can pretty much guarrantee that I’ll be using my new favourite thing, washi tape!
Some of my time today has also been spent working on a little project using some Liberty fabric I received before Christmas. But I wanted to do something a little different, something to brighten up the house & use an idea I’ve seen on Pinterest. It’s a Work in Progress, so here’s a little snippet of what I’ve achieved today, during the Murray/Djokovic final.
This is something that I’m going to work on everytime I sit down to watch sport, so with the Six Nations coming up, it shouldn’t take me too long to complete it & move on to the next one! I’ll keep you posted on this & on all my other craft WIP once a month! What are you working on at the moment? Feel free to share it & a link to your site in the comments below!
