Calling all stationery geeks! There’s a new monthly paper club in town. I have been a long time fan of The Green Gables, so when I heard that she was starting up a monthly paper club, I knew I had to have one!
Each month, subscribers will receive three pieces of The Green Gables stationery, an inspirational quote postcard and something designed just for the Happy Paper Club. You can sign up for a taster box, a six month subscription or a rolling monthly subscription. If you choose the rolling monthly or six month subscription, you’ll be treated to something lovely on your birthday as well as a discount card to spend in The Green Gables. What’s not to love about that?!
The club launches 1st March so put the date in your diary to make sure you don’t miss out!
I’ve been a fan of Filofax for a long time. My whole life is in mine, which I received as a gift seven years ago. Just over a month ago, I noticed how worn and grubby mine is looking and my ruler is broken. I thought it was time I treated myself to a new one and knew exactly which one I wanted – the Songbird Filofax. I’d seen it a while ago, but wasn’t ready to replace mine. However, when I went to look for one online, I was sad to see that it had been discontinued.
Then, on Saturday while having a bit of a shop in Oxford, I popped into WH Smiths to stock up on pens for school, when I walked by the Filofax stand and saw a lonely Songbird Filofax! I didn’t hesitate – I picked it up straight away and as soon as I could started transferring all of my information into my new one. When I saw that Filofax had discontinued it, I really thought I’d never get one. I wasn’t really interested in any of the others they currently have so am so chuffed to have the one that I want!. I am one very happy stationery geek!
Well, I had a whole other blog post planned for today and then the postman delivered something that has thrown my morning into chaos: stationery. Yep, new stationery. I’ve received a little box of goodies from the lovely people over at Viking and I am in a state of bliss right now. I’ll blog about the items in more detail over the next few weeks, but for the moment, I have to share this picture of my new Post-its.
I’ve already started using them and have written down all my ideas for blog posts that have been whirling around in my head and stuck them to my wall (the ultimate post-it test – will it stick? If so, how long for?). I’m like a kid at Christmas, and that is very excited. Seriously. I’ve written before about how much I love stationery and paper, but this delivery has put me over the edge into euphoric! What’s the one thing that would make you smile, no beam, from ear to ear like a kid, right now?
I love stationery. I love statement rings. This little beauty combines them both. When I saw this pencil ring on Twitter, I knew I had to treat myself. I work hard. I deserve it. So I ordered it. I am not sorry!
These are the four designs they pencil rings come in and you simply have to decide which ones to order. The rings are made by Oh, Bother and they make some really great jewellery and home products. But these pencil rings are my favourite and I love wearing mine! It joins a few other unusual rings in my collection, including a pebble ring with a pebble from a Cornish beach and a Israeli blue stone ring. Gorgeous!
