Everytime we visit Cornwall, there are certain places we go: Gunwalloe Beach, the Lizard Point, Smugglers Chips Shop and Ann’s Pasties. Ann’s is the perfect place to buy a warm and hearty pasty after a morning spent hiking around the Cornish coastal path. It’s unlikely we’ll get down to Cornwall this year, but that doesn’t mean we have to go without Cornwall. Ann’s Pasties.
This is because you can get Ann’s Pasties through the post! I ordered a box of 10 uncooked vegan pasties and popped them in the freezer. They take an hour to cook and need 15 minutes to cool so you don’t burn your mouth on them. I sprayed olive oil on the baking tray so they don’t stick and before you know it, you’ve got a little taste of Cornwall in your own home. This has pretty much made month!
(Can you see one of Poppy’s dog hairs on my plate above?! I don’t know how she does it, but they get everywhere all the time!)
