I’ve never been the kind of girl to spend a lot of time and money on make up. Instead, I’d always be looking for the best moisturiser or the shampoo and conditioner that helped control my fizzy mane. As I get older, I still want a good moisturiser, but it also needs to contain an SPF. I also want my beauty products to be cruelty free and use as few animal products as possible. Here’s what I’ve been using lately.

I love the shampoo bar from Lush. Not only does it not have any packaging, but it’s a great shampoo. Poppy does like to eat soap, so we have to keep it in one of the Lush tins but I honestly don’t think I’ll go back to bottled shampoo. This little bar packs a real punch. For years I’ve been making my own sugar scrub, but I wanted something quick and easy to use and this exfoliator bar is perfect. It’s got a lovely smell and does the job. I needed some facial moisturiser and was given the Burt’s Bees one for Christmas. It’s great, lasts ages and isn’t too greasy. Throughout winter, I needed to make sure I took care of my skin by using a gentle facial exfoliator and this one by UrbanVeda is brilliant. It’s really gentle, smells great and you only need a little. Love it! The Olive Branch shower gel by Lush is a recent find but I love it so much. It’s got a great smell and really helps to keep your skin soft and supple. The Jason Aloe Vera lotion is my best find ever. I suffer from really dry skin and this little beauty has kept my skin in tip top shape all through winter. I will never use anything else!
