I’m always impressed when someone comes up with a new idea or a quirky take on something, especially as I’m not very good at that kind of thing. But it’s exactly what Susi over at Death to Flowers has done with her range of lovingly curated gift boxes. Susi contacted me and told me all about her luxury gift box and asked if I, as an out and proud stationery geek, would be interested. It has dog paperclips, so yep I was interested!
See, dog paperclips! What’s not to love?! The good thing about this box is that it has some lovely stationery, but it also has a supercute necklace in the shape of an origami crane, some delicious chocolate that I’ve earmarked to go with a Christmas present and some kissing notes, that help keep your messages to loved one secret! You can personalise the card and choose one that’s suitable for the recipient. I think it’s a lovely idea and a great alternative to flowers. This is just one of a few different boxes that Susi does, so it’s well worth taking a look at her website to see what’s available. I love the box it comes in too and am planning on using that as my treat box and stash all my vegan goodies inside!
Disclaimer: I did receive a discount on the box and it’s goodies. However, all opinions and reviews are my honest view. Promise.
Back in February, I wrote about the newly launched Happy Paper Club from The Green Gables. Just over two weeks ago, the postie dropped a box full of stationery goodies through the letterbox, sending Poppy into a spin. So much so, that Poppy tried to open the box before bringing it to me. It’s fair to say that I don’t get much post, and less that’s very exciting so to get a box full of gorgeous stationery is pretty ace. Have a look at March’s box:
Along with a notebook, note pad, inspirational quote, recipe cards and the cards above, came a lovely bonus gift from Clara and Macy – perfect for the Easter holidays. I love the cards in the picture above. They’re bright and cheerful, which is always a good thing to have in the post. The recipe cards are also a lovely idea – I know a few people who would love them. You can never have too much stationery in my view and I’m always making lists and notes so this box is perfect for me. If you know a stationery geek, then make sure you direct them to the Happy Paper Club!
Orders are now open for April’s box so make sure you head over to The Green Gables for your own box or maybe treat some this Easter. But be quick as they’re likely to sell out pretty fast!
Calling all stationery geeks! There’s a new monthly paper club in town. I have been a long time fan of The Green Gables, so when I heard that she was starting up a monthly paper club, I knew I had to have one!
Each month, subscribers will receive three pieces of The Green Gables stationery, an inspirational quote postcard and something designed just for the Happy Paper Club. You can sign up for a taster box, a six month subscription or a rolling monthly subscription. If you choose the rolling monthly or six month subscription, you’ll be treated to something lovely on your birthday as well as a discount card to spend in The Green Gables. What’s not to love about that?!
The club launches 1st March so put the date in your diary to make sure you don’t miss out!
I don’t know about you, but the only post I seem to get is junk mail, bills or for someone else. (Poppy gets more happy post than I do!) For this reason, I’m a huge fan of subscription boxes. Previously, I’ve tried Not Another Bill, Crafty Fox Box, Graze and a coffee one, though I can’t remember which one. So when I heard about #PaperHaul, I was really intrigued and I signed up.
In the box: 2 postcards, 2 sheets of printed paper, 2 greeting cards, 3 gift tags, a sheet of stickers and a roll of washi tape.
The cards are really unusual and are high quality. They’re perfect for sending a little inspiration to your best friends throughout January! You can never have too much washi tape in my opinion, and I love the car themed tape. It’ll be perfect for adding to envelopes, postcards from holidays later in the year and wrapping birthday presents. (I’m haunted by my poor effort this Christmas and need to step it up this year!)
If one of your resolutions is to write more and send your friends and family some happy post, then you’ll need #PaperHaul in your life. It costs just £10 a month (plus P&P), it’s delivered right to your door and for every #PaperHaul box sold, 10p is donated to the UK charity, PostPals. You can also give the gift of #PaperHaul to a paper addict in your life as they’re also available for 3 and 6 month gift subscriptions – perfect if you’ve got a January birthday present to buy!
I plan on trying a few others this year. What are your favourite subscription boxes?
Disclosure: I was given a discount code for this box, but all opinions are my own.
