Lovely readers, I have to admit that I’m not overly proud of humanity at the moment. Between how we treat others and how we treat the planet and animals, I am despairing. I don’t quite understand why some people feel the need to be so vile. Why can’t we all just be nice to each other, no matter what we believe or where we come from?
Well, the power to make the world a better place is in our hands. It’s during times like this where we need to take back control and be kinder to each other. Not sure where to start? Take a look below.
A wonderful human being and teacher at my school put this together after his summer assignment last year went viral. You may remember it? Well, this year, he wants to open up the assignment to everyone. Because we could all do with the world being better. We deserve it and we owe it to the next generation.
Over the summer holidays, I’m going to have a go at some of these. I especially like the one about getting up early and watching the sunrise. I might combine that with walking further than I ever have before. I also like the idea of eating something I’ve grown myself and think that I could really do with spending the day being creative and making something new. How about you? What will you do to make the world a better place? I’d love to see what you get up to so make sure you share you adventures on social media and tag it with #chenderitsummerassignment2016 and #maketheworldabetterplace
