I do not know where the time goes. How on earth is it April tomorrow, especially if I’m still wearing mittens while walking Poppy? Anyway, despite the fact that the weather can’t decide whether to join us in Spring, I’m ready to move my wardrobe on to brighter things. While I’m mainly a blue stripy top and jeans kind of girl, I’m always looking for items to break up the blue. Last week, when treating myself to a new jumper from Seasalt, I spotted this gorgeous scarf and it’s gone straight onto my Wishlist.
I love it because it’s completely different to all the other scarves I have and would look just as good as part of a work outfit, as it would walking Poppy or heading out with friends. (Who am I kidding – I’ll mainly wear it while walking Poppy!) But it’ll help break up the blue coat, blue top and blue jeans I wear most of the time. If no one takes the hint and gets if for me soon, I’ll be treating myself!
This isn’t a sponsored post, I just love Seasalt stuff!
Finally it seems that the weather is behaving as it should. I wait all year for it to be acceptable to wear lots of wool. Tights, slipper socks, gloves, scarves, bobble hats, as many layers as you can physically get on your body. That’s what I love about this time of year. Today, I’m wearing as many as I can, including a blanket because we’re recovering from illness and busyness at Crafty Chai towers and I need comfort and warmth.
Sadly, I’m not wearing the Eastern Dress by Seasalt (It’s on my Christmas list!) but I am wearing another of their gorgeous dresses, the Ropehaven Dress. I bought it at their discount shop in Falmouth while we were there on holiday. If you’re a Seasalt fan and in the area, make sure you stop by. There are bargains to be had! I bought the Ropehaven dress at a discount (fist pump!) and I’m glad I did as it’s now sold out. It’s the perfect dress for this time of year. It’s comforting and toasty, like wearing a big hug! Paired with woolly tights and slipper socks, it’s going to be my go to outfit for winter.
