You know when you start reading a book and you think, ‘Huh, this is pretty amazing’? Well, I got that from this Neil Gaiman book. I read quite a lot of different books, thanks to Book Group and picking up book tips from a number of places. They’re pretty varied. My OH picked this one up for our holiday in Cornwall. He didn’t think it’d be my cup of tea, but when I found myself between books, I picked this up and was instantly smitten.

I won’t give you a synopsis, mainly because I won’t be able to do it justice. I’ve never read any of Neil Gaiman’s books before, no particular reason, but this one just grabbed me. It’s a little unusual, but not so unusual that it’s difficult to follow. I found I couldn’t wait to go to bed just so I could read more.¬†Even though it’s a good vs evil story, Neil Gaiman brings it to life so that it could be anyone going through it. Fantastic!

Have read anything good lately? You can check out what else I’ve been reading over on my Recent Reads page. Let me know if you’ve got any recommendations!
